Terms of use
1. The game
Pewpkins! Phazer Tag ("Pewpkins") is a free browser game. Playing needs no account and costs nothing. There are no ads and nothing can be bought with real money. Optional free accounts (a grown-up must say yes by email) keep a player's coins, skins and leaderboard spots. Coins are earned only by playing, have no money value and cannot be sold or exchanged. From time to time some skins are on sale for fewer coins for a limited time; the sale price shown in the Locker is the price charged. We may rename or delete accounts with rude or personal usernames, and remove leaderboard results that are clearly not from fair play. By playing you agree to these terms. If you are a child, please read them with a grown-up.
2. Play nice
Pewpkins is a silly, friendly game. In party play, please:
- use a kind, fun nickname, not your real name and nothing rude or hurtful
- only share your party code with people you know
- don't cheat, hack or try to disrupt the game, other players or our servers
Party games run directly between players' devices. We do not watch or moderate them. Grown-ups, please keep an eye on who your kids play with.
3. Availability
We provide Pewpkins as it is and as available, and may change, pause or stop it at any time. Party play depends on third-party connection services (see the privacy policy) and may not work on every network, for example some school or office networks.
4. Liability
Pewpkins is free, so we are only liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, such as product liability, stays unaffected. Please take breaks. If you have photosensitive epilepsy, be aware that the game contains bright flashes and comic effects.
5. Rights
The Pewpkins name, the Numpkin characters, the game's code, art, sounds and texts belong to Lerudi Consulting S.L. unless noted otherwise. The game uses open-source software, including three.js (MIT licence), PeerJS (MIT licence) and the Bangers and Fredoka fonts (SIL Open Font Licence). Their licences and copyright notices apply.
6. Law
The laws of Spain apply. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest stays in force.
